chrome.storage.localNote on "Slow Model (Free)": If you use the default free model provided with the extension, your subtitle data is sent to a secure proxy at opensummary.pages.dev which forwards it to the AI provider. No personal data is logged or stored by this proxy.
The extension communicates with the AI API provider you explicitly configure (e.g., OpenAI, Google Gemini, DeepSeek). When using the default Free Model, requests are routed through a Cloudflare-hosted proxy to protect the shared API key. No other third-party services are contacted.
